OCOMX

Tutorial: from install to first PO

About 15 minutes end to end. No samples, no prototypes — deposits do the validation.

0Try the demo first (optional, 5 minutes)

Open public market evidence — no store and no credentials required, and it reads real providers. The older legacy deposit demo renders its campaign UI without a store, but its data endpoints require a signed storefront request, so an anonymous visit shows an empty shell.

1Install on your store

Click Install on the App Store listing and approve the OAuth prompt. The app immediately verifies the connection against the live Admin API and registers its webhooks (orders/create, app/uninstalled, products/update) — nothing to configure by hand.

2Bind a product

Pick the product you want to validate. The app keeps product state in sync through the products/update webhook, so delisting at hedge time is always precise.

3Create a validation campaign

The theme app extension renders the deposit block on the product page automatically.

4Collect deposits

Buyers pay through your own Shopify checkout. Orders carrying the _pae_is_deposit attribute flow into the hedge ledger automatically via the orders/create webhook — duplicates are ignored (idempotent).

Funds note: deposits land in your store's normal payout. OCOMX never holds buyer money.

5Read the decision

6Optional: voice chasing

Configure your Twilio credentials and numbers to have the voice agent chase the factory (PO acknowledgment) and buyers at defined nodes. Without credentials it stays in DRY-RUN — scripts and decisions appear in logs, nothing is dialed.

7Reconcile

The nightly job produces SKU-level net-profit views with tax-refund alignment (13% default) and a ≤0.01% tolerance, so the campaign ledger matches your books.

Good first campaign: short duration, small threshold, one product you already suspect has demand — you'll see both machine states in one day.
