Short answers about how OCOMX validates demand with deposits and hedges production risk.
It validates product demand with real buyer deposits before you produce: threshold met → the first purchase order is compiled automatically; timeout → the product is delisted and every deposit is refunded.
No. Deposits are collected through your own Shopify checkout via a deposit block on the product page (theme app extension + App Proxy). OCOMX never sees or stores card data — it only receives Shopify order events tagged as deposits.
The hedge state machine runs MITIGATE: the bound product is unpublished (set to draft) and all recorded deposits are refunded in full through the Shopify Admin API. The decision and every step are written to the campaign ledger.
SUCCESS: a first purchase order is compiled automatically — batch quantity is sized from deposits × the configured safety factor (default 1.75), with MOQ and lead-time (+18 days default) constraints — together with a BOM. The optional voice agent can then chase the factory.
From your product reviews. Paste reviews in English or Chinese; TF-IDF cosine clustering groups them into unmet-demand clusters, each with a design proposal and a render prompt. The Decision Space can also investigate live market evidence and reports readiness (READY / WAIT) instead of guessing.
No. Product renders are generated from the design proposal (built-in mock renderer; ComfyUI / Ray nodes configurable) so you can validate before spending on samples.
Partly, and we would rather say so precisely. The legacy deposit demo renders the campaign UI without a store, but its data endpoints need a signed Shopify App Proxy request, so an anonymous visit shows an empty shell. For a genuine no-credentials view of the current product, open public market evidence: it reads real providers and needs no store.
It places Twilio voice calls to chase factories or buyers at defined campaign nodes (for example confirming PO acknowledgment). Without Twilio credentials configured it stays in DRY-RUN: the call script and decision logs are written, nothing is dialed.
One-click OAuth install from the Shopify App Store. On install the app exchanges the token, registers its webhooks (orders/create, app/uninstalled, products/update) and runs a live Admin API connection check automatically.
The app/uninstalled webhook deletes stored tokens and install records. What we keep and why is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
The current release targets the Online Store sales channel (product pages and checkout). POS support is not part of this version.
